Britain 'Most at Risk' for Asteroid Strikes

This is the new theory, but looks like a very plausible theory. It is only natural that such theories are looked into and studied, because of the huge (size of a house) asteroid that passed 7,500km past Earth recently. It was disaster averted.
The effect of the disaster would be huge. It does depend on the size of the asteroid in question, but it also depends on the particle's velocity. The resultant momentum of a huge velocity will evidently mean an immense explosion that could wipe out huge areas of population and forest area and more. The aftermath could be a dust cloud cover, bringing down the temperature of the Earth several degrees (at least in certain areas) and destroy vegetation and more life.
